A Tiny Princess Joins Our Family
Just one month after Micro-Boss came into our lives, another unexpected surprise was waiting for us.
Once again, while visiting one of our regular feeding stations near the Atlantica Akteon Hotel in Paphos, we discovered a tiny ginger kitten.
She was only about four weeks old.
Someone had left her at the same feeding station where we had found Micro-Boss just a month earlier.
There was no way we could leave such a small kitten to face life alone.
So, just as we had done before, we brought her home.
After a visit to the veterinarian, we learned that our new little rescue was a girl.
She deserved a beautiful name.
We decided to call her Cassandra, although most of the time we simply call her Cassie.
From the very beginning, we wondered how Micro-Boss would react to having another kitten in the house.
To our delight, he welcomed Cassie with curiosity and kindness.
Within a short time, they became inseparable.
Now they spend their days chasing each other through the house, playing with every toy they can find, climbing, exploring, and occasionally getting into harmless mischief together.
Watching them grow up side by side reminds us why every rescued kitten deserves a second chance.
Two kittens.
Two kittens.
Two different stories.
The same feeding station.
The same happy ending.
We often think about how differently their lives could have turned out if no one had stopped to help.
Today, Micro-Boss and Cassie are safe, healthy, and surrounded by love.
They remind us every day that even the smallest act of kindness can change a life forever.
